Work issues – Working with difficult people can take the joy out of life. Not only does it affect your work productivity, but it can also cause you to spend too much of your free time dwelling on what you could have done differently, such as ‘what if I had said this’ or ‘what if I had done that.’ We feel beaten and knocked down when coworkers or a boss act against us, downplay our work or ideas, or fail to appreciate what we have accomplished.
The Lord says in Ruth 2:12, “The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.” And in 2 Chronicles 15:7, “Be ye strong, therefore, and let not your hands be weak; for your work shall be rewarded.”
When you’re feeling beaten up at work, pray this prayer to take authority over the enemy and stop the destructive talk and actions of coworkers and boss.
Lord, You said, according to Matthew 16:19, that whatsoever I bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatsoever I loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. So, in the name of Jesus, I command the tongues of all the evil spirits operating in my coworkers and/or boss to be bound and at peace, according to Mark 1:25, so you can no longer communicate with any other spirit.
Thank you, Jesus, for giving me the authority and the power to use your name to tread upon serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19) and the authority to bind and loose (Matthew 16:19) in your name.
Now that you have prayed this prayer, please review our teaching on Prayer Is Not Warfare (PINW), which will guide you in taking authority over the enemy and living victoriously.
